Why don’t the PRO products provide standard embroidery files?

We address this topic in detail on page 2 of the PRO book, but I’ll provide the basics here.

When you use the PRO techniques for quilting, you will resize the quilting files to match the dimensions of the project you need to quilt. The best way to do that, while correctly recalculating the stitch count and maintaining the correct stitch length is to start with the C2S format files that we distribute.

The instructions in the PRO book will help you:

• Calculate the file dimensions you’ll need for your quilt.
• Use the included Embroidery Tool Shed software to resize the files.
• Save the resized files to the file format you need for your embroidery machine.
