How Can We Help?
Pro tip: Using C2S Files for an Edge-to-Edge Quilt
If you’ve already purchased a copy of our Edge-to-Edge PRO book, you have already noticed that we didn’t deliver standard embroidery files for the quilting. Instead, we delivered c2s files. Why did we do that?
Because, if we give you c2s files, you can open them in the free Embroidery Tool Shed software that comes with the book (and which is available in the Free Products section of our web site), resize the files to any size you want, then save high quality quilting files to the file format for your machine.

I recently made a dragon-themed quilt for my son. While I didn’t want to quilt border designs around the edges, I thought it would be interesting to use the technique from our Edge-to-Edge PRO book, so that the quilting would not stitch off the quilt top.
I used the resizing worksheet from the PRO book, and resized the quilting designs. My goal was to have the quilting stop just short of where the binding would be on all edges.
I’m pleased to say that it worked quite nicely! In addition to having a great look to the quilting, I didn’t need to worry about the presser foot catching on the edge of the quilt top, and I saved some time, because I didn’t need to wait for the quilting to finish stitching off the edges of the quilt top.
So, if you’ve already purchased our PRO book to start quilting borders, this is a GREAT new way to use the Edge-to-Edge PRO technique and designs!
