Embroidery files and your USB stick

When you copy embroidery files to a USB memory stick, copy only the files that you’re going to use for the project at hand.

Having more files on the stick will get confusing.

And… copying different file types to your USB stick makes it even worse. Many machines can read more than one file type, so it may look like you have multiple copies of the file.

And, again… even though machines can read more than one format, they don’t always stitch the other formats correctly. So, to get the best results, load only the native format for your machine on the USB stick, and only load the design(s) that you plan to stitch right away.
