Are the Rose “A” and “B” files the same?

While the two files for the Rose design in Expansion Pack 5 look very, very, very similar, they actually are different. Christine just managed to create a flow that was nearly symmetrical. If you overlay the A and B files in digitizing software you will see the subtle differences, but that’s really the only way to see it.

What that means in practice is that you can use the A and B files if you want, but the files have so much going on that you don’t actually need the B file. We’ve found that you can repeat the A file over an entire quilt, and no one will notice.
