DESCRIPTION:If you’ve ever wanted to quilt your own quilts with an edge-to-edge quilting design\, this hands-on technique class is perfect for you! \nJoin Christine Conner in person to learn the core technique from her groundbreaking book\, Edge-to-Edge Quilting on Your Embroidery Machine\, which gives you long-arm quilting results with your home embroidery machine! This technique helps you save time\, save money\, and get the satisfaction of making entire quilts all by yourself! \nYou will learn and practice the technique on a simple quilt sandwich\, which you can later turn into a pair of place mats. Simply practice the technique again on your own in order to get a full set! You can stitch a butterfly design\, or a bee design\, and Christine will provide the files in class. \nOnce you’ve learned the technique\, you can use the over 200 designs in the Amelie Scott Edge-to-Edge Quilting product line to quilt anything from table runners to twin size quilts. \nTickets are $119\, lunch and embroidery designs are included. \nImportant: Online registration not available. During this session\, Christine will introduce her newest and best-selling projects that can enhance your decor for this time of year\, and the months soon to come. \nChristine will also mix in hints\, tips\, and techniques that make machine embroidery easier\, and help you get great results on any type of project. This information is appropriate for quilters and embroidery enthusiasts of any skill level. Also mixed in to this session is an introduction to Christine’s FOUR techniques for quilting on an embroidery machine. These will be short demonstrations\, not an in-depth technical lesson. In this hands-on class\, you will learn and practice the PRO technique on a table topper that you make before class. \nClass contents — the class will cover the following topics: \n\n\n\nThe importance of the resizable C2S format files that are now available for all our Edge-to-Edge products.\nHow to complete the Quilt Prep worksheet that shows how much to resize the quilting designs\, based on the dimensions of your quilt.\nResizing quilting designs with the Embroidery Tool Shed software.\nPositioning and stitching the body quilting designs.\nHow to resize\, position\, and stitch border and cornerstone quilting designs.\n\n\n\nIf you want to practice using the Embroidery Tool Shed software during class\, you are welcome to do so.
